Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) is a highly non-reactive and pure thermoplastic fluoropolymer. PVDF is a specialty plastic material in the fluoropolymer family. It is used generally in applications requiring the highest purity, strength, and resistance to solvents, acids, bases and heat and low smoke generation during a fire event. Polysulfones (PSU) are tough, rigid, high-strength thermoplastics that are suitable for continuous use up to 300 degrees F (149 degrees C). The resins are resistant to oxidation and hydrolysis and withstand prolonged exposure to high temperatures and repeated sterilization. Polysulfones are highly resistant to mineral acids, alkali and salt solutions.
