Our capabilities have evolved from those of a small tool and die company into a complete full-service professional manufacturing organization as evidenced by the accurate and high quality equipment we use to produce our customers' exacting parts.

At KVI we use state-of-the-art Swiss Screw machines from Traub utilizing 13 axes with live tooling and integrated robotic part pick-off capability. We use highly accurate high-speed milling machines from Yasda to perform 3D hard milling at spindle speeds up to 20,000 rpm. Milling machines and multi-axis turning centers with live tooling from Mori Seiki complement this array of equipment.

KVIs CNC Wire and CNC Ram EDM equipment by Mitsubishi and Makino, coupled with our skilled craftsmen highlight our capability to repeatedly produce highly accurate parts within .00010 accuracy. This, combined with state-of-the-art, true B (6th) axis Wire EDM for "turn and burn" applications, tied into our robotic automation, makes us the perfect fit for high volume EDM applications.

The design and build of special dies and fixtures provided the impetus for developing our CNC and EDM departments. This strong equipment foundation along with our experienced craftsmen is reflected in the quality parts and tooling we produce to satisfy our customers' requirements today. Furthermore, our expertise in this area provides the gateway to perform challenging machining rooted in the finer details required to manufacture complex parts, such as those comprised of thin walls or difficult to machine features. Our EDM capabilities, both Wire and Ram, further complement the KVI advantage that our customers enjoy. Last, yet foremost, the meaning of Quality is expressed with our Zeiss Contoura CNC scanning CMM equipment which allows us to prove to our customers that we make what we promise. It allows us to reverse engineer contoured parts and worn dies and tools that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to manufacture due to missing tooling drawings and information.
